Sheila Marie Solomon

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sheila Marie Porter Solomon will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00AM. Location: Shiloh Baptist Church 122 Hooks Street – Gordon, Georgia. Pastor Kendrick K. Mack will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Sheila Porter Solomon was born May 23, 1972 to the parentage of Linda Braswell and Willie D. Porter, Sr. Sheila was the baby of ten siblings. Sheila transitioned March 4, 2024 to her eternal home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Kenneth Porter, Robert Porter and Linda Ann Porter.

She attended Wilkinson County School in Irwinton, Georgia. Sheila accepted Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior at a young age. She became a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Sheila leaves to cherish her legacy of love and precious memories to her husband Douglas Solomon whom she was married to for 16 years. Douglas was a faithful and dedicated husband and father, sons; LaMicheal Porter and Kevon Fordham, siblings; Mary Porter, Rhoda (Willie J.) Smith, Shirley (Anthony) Cantrell, Lisa Woodard, Cathy (Royce) Harris, Willie F. (Pearlie) Renfroe, Glen (Natasha) Porter, Willie Lamar Porter, Thomas Lee Porter, Floyd (Brenda) Porter, sister-in-law’s; Brenda Crowder, Linda Crowder, brother-in-law, Jimmie Todd, one devoted aunt, Carrie Harden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
