Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Nathan J. Johnson will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 2:00PM at Parker Springs Baptist Church. Pastor Eddie D. Smith, Sr. will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Parker Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Nathan Jerome Johnson was born on December 9, 1963, to the late Aleloise Addie Johnson and the late Willie D Mullens, Sr. Nathan attended school in the Wilkinson County School System. He later obtained his GED and went on to attend Technical College obtaining his Certification in Welding. Afterwards, he worked at Brewer Industrial for over 15 years. Nathan was later united in holy matrimony to Gloria Jordan on December 9, 2016.
Peace came to Nathan on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute in Savannah, GA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Aleloise Johnson, his father, Willie Mullens Sr, and five siblings: Ricky Mullens Sr, Casey Horne, Willie Mullens Jr, Malinda Johnson and Derek Johnson.
Nathan leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Gloria Jordan Johnson; seven children, Qwentina Johnson, Christopher Jackson, Larry (Precious) Grant, Ventarus Grant, Jessica Grant, LaKesha Grant; dedicated grandparent to six grandchildren Elijah Johnson, Nathan J. Johnson, King Johnson, Tahiry White, Kelvin Grayer and Zachai Higgs; thirteen siblings, Kevin Johnson, Chris (Linda) Johnson, Teresa Mullens, Scotty (Pam) Mullens, Sharon Gray, Verlisa Mullens, Victoria (Jermaine) Mullens Hill, LaTonya (Gary) Stubbs, Cynthia (Shawn) Hughes, Celena (Riley) Shinholster, Julius (Kim) Sims, Dexter Austin and Lanikka Lewis; Mother-in-law, Joeann Jordan; two Sisters-in-law, Patricia Jordan, Anika Johnson; two uncles, Eddie Lee Johnson and James “Bud” Shinholster; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel – Irwinton has charge of arrangements.
