Kinnedy Benard Horne

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Kinnedy Horne will be held Monday, April 6, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 124 Church Street – Irwinton.

“Kinney” Bernard Horne entered into rest on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Atrium Navicent Health Medical Center.

He was born April 18, 1964, to the late Andrew (Tig) Horne and Pauline Horne. At an early age he joined Calvary Hill Baptist Church of Irwinton, Georgia.

He graduated from Baldwin High School – Class of 1983. He was known as a wrestler during his high school years, also for painting and other small maintenance work with pipes. He was quiet, peaceful, and a giving person.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Pauline Horne; children, Solita Horne and Colby Horne; four grandchildren to whom he was known as Pa Pa, Somaya Johnson, travion Horne, Allison Horne, Jacoby Horne; siblings, Mickey Horne, Tony (Linda) Flourney, Andrew “Smokey” (Marilyn) Horne, Andy Horne, LaFayette Horne, Morris (Chiquita) Jackson, Betsy Butts, Juliette (Neilmel) and Catherine Strange; three aunts, Lizzie Pitts, Maggie (Mac Arthur) Reeves and Annie Lou (Earnest) Howell; one uncle John (Judy) and a host of nieces nephews and other relatives.

Public Viewing will be held Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 2:00-6:00PM at the funeral home.

Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel – Irwinton has charge of arrangements.
