Funeral Services for Mr. Johnnie Lee Strange, Sr. will be held on Saturday March 07, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the New Macedonia Baptist Church 124 Church Street Irwinton, Georgia. Rev. Kendrick K. Mack, Sr. will officiate.
Mr. Johnnie known to many as “JC” was born on January 19, 1939 to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Strange. Many remember his mother as the late Ms. Agnes Whipple Strange Lewis of Wilkinson County. He attended school in Toomsboro, Georgia. He worked at Engelhard of McIntyre, Georiga and retired after 29 years of service.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Teresa(Stacy) Cobb.
Mr. JC leaves to cherish his memories with his children: Gloria(Gregory) Brooks, Debra(Robert) Strange, Patricia(Darien)Strange, Samantha(Hyon)Walker, Johnnie Strange, Jr., Bobby(Catherine)Strange, Otha Strange, Frank(Raven)Strange, Ira (Robin)Strange, Marvin Height, Johnny Palmer, Zabriel Seabrooks and extended siblings. Also he leaves his siblings: Rupert Taylor, Merlene Strange, Lurlene Carswell. A loving and devoted friend Sheila Howell, and a host of grand, great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
