Huby L. Knight

Funeral Services for Mr. Huby L. Knight “Rabbit”, will be held, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Red Level Cemetery. Pastor Randy J. Paschal will officiate.

Huby “Rabbit” Knight was born January 19, 1963. He attended Wilkinson County Public Schools. He was employed at Fountain Pallet Mills until retirement. He was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. Huby was well known for his joking ways and was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Roosevelt Knight, Sr. and Maggie Knight, siblings, Roosevelt Knight, Jr. and Cathy Knight, and one grandson, JoVani Holt.

Rabbit transitioned from his earthly home on Friday, December 29, 2023.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Torrie (Landri) Veal, grandchildren; Kemoria, Ineria, Mikeal, Blessyng, Tyteunna, great-grandkids; Hezekiah, Ace, and SaMee, siblings; Ada (Darryl) Veal, Julia (Harry) Driskell, Walter Knight, step-sisters; Regina Williams, Wanda (Timothy) Bonner, Vicki (Ricky) Thomas, Anita Williams, sister-in-law, Carolyn Womble Knight, aunts; Shirley Sylvester, Roberta Mack, Lucille Knight, Ida Knight, Addie Knight, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Public Viewing will be held, Monday, January 8, 2024 from 11:00-6:00PM at the funeral home.

Wilkinson County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
